The Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme (LEEP) is a bold initiative launched by the Federal Government of Nigeria to drive inclusive job creation, skills development, and economic resilience across the country. Spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, LEEP aims to empower citizens, particularly youth, women, and persons with disabilities, by bridging the gap between labor market demand and workforce readiness.

Launched in April 2025, LEEP is designed to generate up to 2.5 million jobs, with a strong focus on innovation, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and labor mobility. The program operates through strategic partnerships with national and international organizations, public institutions, private sector players, and regional bodies.

LEEP is committed to promoting decent work, digital inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods by providing access to market-relevant training, employment opportunities, and support services.
